i have two of the 'red october' plants thay are my fav.
one is a shoot of the large one they grow really well and are very easy, my large one has just flowered for the first time.

I don't do anything to them i have add a push in gravel feriliser once or twice but don't really need them.

They do grow big, mine are about 15inches tall and cover about 10inche diameter in the tank.

Mangor those are some awesome species of swords !
Can you give a little more background info on where to get these ? Shekoi too ?

I have an ozelot red and an Echinodorus 'red special'. I think both cultivated by Tropica and from what I hear these are designed not to propagate ? Sounds like yours can and I love swords with red in them

There are not rare per se, they are cultivars and hybrid crosses with existing species.
