Not a question I think I've seen asked for any specifics at least: I was wondering if any reverse bioloads could be figured out for certain plant types. I'm sure that this was more commonly known before the invent of filters.

Say, how many (insert type of fish here) could (insert number, size(weight?, length?), and type of plant here) support, i.e. no significant increase or decrease in nitrate values.

I ask this because it's been a wandering thought of mine for a while, and I have an empty 10G and I'm thinking of starting up this "science project".
