Pammy![]() ![]() Hobbyist Posts: 148 Kudos: 130 Registered: 30-Mar-2004 ![]() ![]() | Hi. I purchased some Rotala Indica a few weeks ago, and now i'm noticing on a few of the plants, brown spots and algae. The rest of the plants are ok.. Could someone tell me what it is exactly, and how I get rid of it? If you want to see it, this is a detailed pic....it's about 945K. http://home.comcast.net/~pammylz/HPIM0341b.JPG Thanks for any help... -pamela Last edited by HermeLZ at 15-Nov-2004 16:02 |

All that you're seeing is the normal decay of the old growth, which adjusts to your tank parameters by sending out new growth rather than improving the old. Just wait until the new growth is long enough to replant, clip off the old stems, and plant the tops. -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |

I was worried that it might be a disease that will spread to the other healthy plants.... I'm new to this, so thank you and please forgive me...lol -pamela Last edited by HermeLZ at 15-Nov-2004 16:10 |
