BUT...I havent found trace mix anywhere so the ingredient was incomplete leaving out the micronutrients. So The Potasium, Nitrate, is smooth and plants are pearling quite a bit. I am using flourite as a substrate,is it neccessary to add micro Nutrients? |

They are vital, it's just a smaller quantity is needed.A severe shortage of one could stall plant growth and reduce the uptake of the PMDD. A decent liquid fert can be dosed, Flourish,Tropica Master Grow, Tetra Florapride etc will do a fine job. Maybe you should consider adding some phosphate too to keep levels about 1ppm. The old PMDD theory has been somehat "dis-proved" in recent years. You'll find an extra kick of PO4 will really take things off. But get the micros in place first. I assume your adding Co2? Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability. |
