On my 30 Gallon tank I have 2 fluorescent bulbs, one is a 20 watt and the other is 15. The bulbs are made for plant life and aquariums. This should put me at just over 1 wpg, but I'm sure if it was a 29 Gallon, which is higher, that wattage would mean less. It's 15 inches from the lights themselves to the gravel.

Also, I want to know what kind of plants do well in that type of lighting. Right now I have java fern and hornwort, and they're both doing really great.

Besides the plants you've got, any Anubias plant will do well, as well as some crypts (wendtii, some others - not sure of the others though) Growth will be slow, but it'll happen.

Back in the saddle!

Your lighting is not intense at all. It's at the minimum necessary to grow the lowest light plants. Java fern, hornwort, wendtii crypts and anubias will all do ok in that light but won't show a lot a growth. Potentially aquatic onion plants, walkeri crypts, and some types of sagittaria will survive although not all would grow fast enough to show it.

I knew it wasn't intense at all, I was just seeing if I could pull off any other plants since my tank is rather shallow.

Thanks for the advice though. I'm not looking for them to grow all too much, just for them to be alive really.
