South American Plants | |
truestar Enthusiast Young Pup Posts: 233 Kudos: 92 Votes: 147 Registered: 23-Aug-2007 | Does anyone know of some South American plants that could do well in a low light tank with a sand substrate? I'm setting up a 55 gallon and am not gonna run C02 but may dose with ferts. I was looking at Dwarf Hairgrass but thought it wouldn't do well under low light. Any help would be appreciated. |

Amazon swords(Echinodorous blheri/ E. amazonicus) will do pretty good under low light. Anacharis(elodia), hornwort. There are also a few others, i have tried the above with great success. |
