I'm using a t-valve to connect to co2 canisters to my one hagen ladder diffusor in the tank.

Do the t-valve work either way 2 to 1 or 1 to 2. I know many times people split to airstones with one pump in my case I'm merging to streams into one. Just want to make sure.

Yeah you should be fine. 1-to-2 or 2-to-1, it doesn't matter since the air/CO2 flow is going to follow the path of least resistance, which is up the tube and into your tank.
