How do you all tie your java fern to driftwood and rocks?

I've used rubber bands and fishline before...or even set a plant weight on one till it roots too whatever you want it attached too.

Best IMO is to use cotton thread, it'll eventually break up naturally into the tank, and you'll have no worries about it contaminating the tank. I've also used fishing line, and rubberbands. Rubber bands work for things that will root quickly (depending on your set up your java fern might do this) but it does tend to break down fairly quickly under water and you probably don't want your fishies munching on rubber band bits.
It does also work to weight them down, or wedge into place....just be careful that the rhizome doesn't get burried.

I use thin transparent fishing line, and after a couple of weeks i just snip it off, some take longer to attach!!

I just tried a staple, but it's not working so far
