Thoroughly soaked newspaper wrapped around the plant,placed in a bag with no water added. ( The water would add to shipping weight, and just slosh around damaging leaves, etc). Use more newspaper to cushion the bag in the cardboard box. . Use a shipment method ( carrier) that would allow for 3 days or less shipping. I've found that after the third day, the quality of the plant diminishes rather quickly. After 4 days in transit, most plants will have to be chalked up as a loss unless you're lucky. |
