Hi there,
I think that plant is either called Pennywort or Moneywort, not sure which of the 2 is the right name.

Ah, not grown submersed hence the peppermint-like, sort of crinkled leaves instead of the water sprite-like appearance, is that it?

Does it have a scent to it? Looks kinda like a plant I used to have. I think it was called cardmire (cardmine)or something like that. I think I bought some wisteria like that before too. Was a little larger though.

In the pic? He is a black Maine Coon tabby, also a big fan of fish watching. Thanks!

I have been looking at getting a Siberian, which are similar to the Maine Coon I guess, but they cost too much. Not sure if I have enough time for one at the moment either. Maybe in a couple years.

Tip and nice as you save a life

(my slogan: save a life - adopt a cat). I got my little fish admirer from a list on the internet called "retired friends." He was a stud, came with papers and health certificates. He was not even 3 when I adopted him 6 years ago and I paid $150 of which half went to the rescue league.

Almost every breed is listed, here is the link:
http://www.breedlist.com/retired/index.html

Good luck! It is a great way to get the breed you want while at the same time you help an animal in need

Sorry for taking so long to reply to this post. Scott if you check out my log on the 35 Gallon i had the exact same form of Wysteria or Difformis. It is an emersed in water version. What will happen is that the upper most part of the plant will grow towards the surface and the leaves will start to change into the submerged form of difformis. Any new leaves will also grow this way.

Thanks for your input as always, Shane

fm, I had just happened to stumble on pics of the wisteria difformis and was like, oh ok, that's it! I think that is really great how they change. I took a look at yer 35g tank, really looks nice!

I have to weigh my wisteria and anacharis down, they are floaters right now.... I think I will leave the hornwort to float.

Some places will sell rotola indica (rotundifolia) with greener rounded leaves. They grow more pointy and red in my tanks. Not sure how the get it like that, maybe the lighting.
