I have no idea what these are, and I haven't been able to find anything that looked like them. The pictures were taken w/ my camera phone, and aren't great. I made some notes under the pic's on the site. http://www.geocities.com/crickit99/plants Christina crickit99@aol.com |

The leaves are flat and smooth with smooth edges. The 2nd plant... It is pretty stemmy (if that's a word!) and there are several stems coming out of the roots. Some leaves are a dark purple, some are green, and some are a combo of both. The leaves are long and skinny, kind of wavy w/ a somewhat jagged edge. |

You will have to research the types or ask someone. I believe I have a plant the same. Does it have a bulb at the root, or is it a bunch of roots coming from the bottom of the stems? |

Bad news is that it is not a suitable aquarium plant as it is not really aquatic. It is a Hemigraphis repanda (Dragon Flame/Tongue). I have an LFS right by my house, which is who helped me figure out this plant. She's ordering me some Java Fern, Java Moss, and some Drawf something or other. Mystery solved on that plant! |

Mine only orders big Bucket-o-plants ![]() [span class="edited"][Edited by 2004-07-27 22:02][/span] |
