It also sends out white roots like that.. Those will go down into the gravel, they can absorb nutrients right from the water in the meantime ! No worrys, and your plants are doing very well. You could pinch them off if you like with no ill effects. Both those plants grow extensive 'hairy' root systems.. Good to pull them up sometimes, then replant the top cuttings. Are those baby val plants I see ? I got some from a lake but the 'blades' are alot thinner (grassier) then my tiger vals. Click on my www for some pics.. The Amazon Nut... |

Gonna have to research my native aquatic (and invasive) plants a bit more to see if dwarf sag is there. Thanks The Amazon Nut... |
