The tank has now been going for 4 years and has a range of fish and plants in it. The light in the tank is 2.5 WPG and the tank size is 180 liters which is 48 US gallons/40 UK gallons. I dont realy want somthing over complicated and would be willing to spend around £60 pounds which is about $120 (I think prob wrong) But any way is there any thing you can suggest. thanks |

I paid 70usd for the co2 tank and 100usd for the regulator. I made my external reactor for a mere $10 I think. That puts you closer to 200usd really. I'm not sure the prices on compressed gasses and what not overseas either. you might have to check it out. Otherwise there's the old sugar + yeast + water = CO2 method. You can search google for DIY yeast to see how to do that. DIY is really cheap and will only cost you the price of the reactor or diffuser plus $10.
