![]() | Which to add first? |
surprisefish![]() Small Fry Posts: 4 Kudos: 3 Votes: 1 Registered: 19-May-2006 ![]() ![]() | Should I go ahead and plant my aquarium first and then add my fish (male betta) or add the fish and then put the plants in? I'm paranoid about messing everything up. ![]() 10 gallon with eco complete, around 2wpg, and probably just some anubias. |

I would probably do the plants first just to have everything finished before adding the betta. Most likely less stressful than doing it after. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

Plants help lower the ammonia and nitrite levels in new tanks...your Betta will appreciate that. And it won't stress him out. It is alot easier to plant a tank without fish in it. |
