I just planted my tanks, and I have noticed some somewhat see-thru white fuzz on some of them. Is that normal? Do I need to worry? It is mainly the banana plants, and I noticed some on an Anubias leaf (new leaf, just uncurling). If you need tank paramaeters, let me know! Christina |

I have this all over in all my tanks. It is related to the common "hydra" creature, but is much smaller, and just sort of resembles small white hairs carpetting everything. It is harmless, some fish such as gouramis will eat it, and it is a sign that your tank is happy, healthy, and well balanced!!
