I was wondering if this would work? The tank will be around 1-2 gal tank, 'bout 3-6 litres. 20cm x 13cm x 13cm (rough approximation)It will be housing a newly aquired male betta (if this plan goes through )

Yes, I have read kittens small plant tank stocking article thingy.(Which was very good btw )
I decided to "Test" tropica.com. I used the advanced search to find plants that fit into my options; 13cm or under, medium difficulty & medium light. & these were some of the options that came up.

Will it work?

Thanks

i'm guessing these are the plants you're refering to
but like if their addaped to that hight tank than all that needs to be considered realy is how much substait area is needed much is an option that site doesn't offer:%)

umm, I dont think that lik woked properly

By "substait" you mean gravel right? I kinda forgot about that how about; the back 5cm of the tank can be regular gravel.. Will that work?

& by having the plants used the tanks size you mean like not getting a 20cm anubias & putting it in a 1scm tank? dont you? So like getting a 4cm one would work? lol im confused

Thanks
