I had my water wisteria for over 2 month now, it's been healthy since i got it and has grown significantly. It was going over 12 inches (my tank is 12 inches tall) so i decided to cut it shorter (left about 8 inches) and plant the cut offs some where else. 1 Week after i've cut it, the wisteria started dying. Leaves keep falling off at the rate of half a dozen per day, not the whole leaf, just bits and pieces of the leaf. The cut off is growing fine though, has grown some new leaves at the top. I am still puting a capful of Aqua Glo per every 10L of water i change every week. What is the problem??? And what can i do?

Some people say Wisteria doesn't respond well to pruning. I myself find that if I prune at the top it takes a while to continue on it's way and the new growth is much smaller or weaker.

What I do now if it get's too tall is prune from the bottom. I pull the whole thing out and cut at the bottom to the desired height. This may seem bad as usually I'm cutting off a large root structure, but by that stage the plant has roots hanging down at the internodes anyway and cutting the old roots doesn't seem to slow it down. This way the plant stays nice and bushy but I can control the height.
