i amkinda at a standstill with my planting, because i threw em all in my 20 gallon but i have low light in my 20 and 29, there will be no light on the 29 in a few hours, im putting that on the 20 gallon, will that increase the wats per gallon i have dencly planted java fern, and want the light to get to the roots better, and i also took an old potted spider plant that the cats have been trying to eat, i set it up in the back, but no more plastic plants for the 20 gallon, the corys cant get back very well they keep getting stuck on the plastic end of the tank i want to live plantthat tank, and move the plastics to the 29, and move clippings to the 10 because its like 15 or 20 wats

That plant does not grow submersed and will rot and die in your tank.

Hmm well on the spider plant....cant remember for sure but I think this is one of the ones that's somewhat toxic to humans (I remember my mom had to remove a lot of her houseplants when my younger sisters were born :%)). Spider plant will do okay with it's roots submerged, the leaves will not be happy @all under water for too long and I worry that it might not be safe for the fish if they decide to munch.

As for the clippings issue. Since it's low light why not aquascape it to have just fewer plants. You could also increase the lighting .
