anyone that knows anything about paintball knows you used a co2 tank to shoot your gun. now i was thinking if i somehow hooked a hose to it and slowly leaked the co2 you get in the co2 tanks i could use it as my co2 system for the fish tank? same stuff right? is that co2 any diferent than the stuff you make yourself?

yep i know paintball! i love playing that i was lighting my freind up and he didnt like it shoot him right in the hide!

um my co2 can leaks slowly anyway so if i droped it in water it leaks a buble like every 2 secs though i guess you could try! but you have to pay for it but i think it is cheap like 10 cents an ounce!

I saw something on the internet about doing that... it said something about getting valves to bring down the flow rate and big cans being really cheap...something about it costing $5 a year for CO2...i don't remember where it was tho...I'm not even sure if it was all correct either...

They have paintball tanks that will fit my co2 regulator ( ya still need a regulator) , but you'd have to refill the tiny thing about once a month or more. Not worth the hassle.
