Just after Xmas I placed a plant order, included were 10 dwarf sag at .33 each. They went into my 10g Endler's tank; Flourite substrate, 1.5wpg, no co2, and I was using regular Flourish at the time.

The plants did really, really well I'm in the process of re-doing that tank, the photo below are the dwarf sag I took out today. Also, in the months following the initial purchase I carpeted my 5g with babies from the original plants, and there are probably 20 or so in my 75, 30, 29, 20 and 6.

As a side not, the lids from Rubbermaid totes are great for working on plants outside the tank

Just goes to show that the low light non CO2 method can work very well , if you have the patience to let it do it's thing.

my dwarf sag did GREAT in my 10g, both with and without co2. but trying to grow it in my 50g with co2 has proved to be somewhat fruitless. i still have one plant left but it's barely hanging on...

What's even better, yours is a nice deep green color, nice and healthy. (not pale-ish like mine). Your water conditions and light probably very agreeable for sag, nice work You may have found your 'niche' plant here.

What's ironic is that it's one of the few plants I didn't research before buying The spouse mentioned that it would be nice to have a grass-like plant in one of the tanks so I just ordered it hoping for the best
