i just noticed there are about 10-16 green dots on a few of my java fern leaves, most of them are on this older, bigger leave. i thought might be snail eggs or something, they arent really lines up straight, they just scatter on the leave, could it be just baby sprouts?? but they arent all at the tip of the leave...

Pearling is a separate thing entirely, caused by your plant releasing oxygen into the water... If your plant is doing this, it's a good thing. Means that the conditions of the plant have been met. (and prob exceeded)
Good job !

Java Fern is an easier, lower requirement plant..
That's ok though, even if one type of plant is pearling
then this is a very good thing.

To get the next plants pearling (beyond my knowledge), I think you'll have to test the water for any missing trace elements such as iron, potassium. You already have some, and a good amount, but some plants may need a higher concentration. Ask questions like these.. What kind of substrate do you use ? What is your co2 level, your ph ? gh ? kh ? What plants are in there and what are their optimum requirements ? Do they prefer acidic or alkaline water or a certain hardness ? For the next level of plantkeeping, I recommend Crazygar or Frank. You might want to test for and record all these levels and send one of them a pm.
