ok..i got some java moss planted on the rock and now slowly crawling to the gravel..if it eventually goes to my gravel and let it grow there..how do u clean the gravel then.....i used my gravel vac on the moss and most of the time...i got moss being sucked up.

what about the gravel then, should i continue cleaning the way i used to or a gentle vac on the moss will be enuf to remove detritus in it??? thank you.

Wave or swirl the vac over the top of the moss. This will disturb any dirt or detritus and it should cloud up into the water column and suck it up from there.

Moss will always collect dirt. If you can remove the rock just rinse it under the tap.

Just wave the vac on the moss & then vacuum the dirt that comes up.
