i am sick of moving them back to where they are suppose to be every couple days, is there a way to keep them stay??

i was thinking about sticking a piece of lead weight into the actual ball that way it'll be heavier and have a "root" to burry under the sand, will that hurt the moss ball??

Don't bury the Marimo Ball. You should turn it every couple of days, so it will keep the rounded shape. If you have strong currents in your tank, the Marimo Balls will move around, no matter what you do.
You can try to stick a piece of Lead & see what happens, but mine stay at the bottom of the tank all the time & i just turn them around, when i'm cleaning or changing water.

i have moderate current i guess, sometimes they just move around, and when they roll, they get all the nasties on their "fur"

i used to just create a small ditch for them to sit on, but they still move... arrrg, and i dont wanna just poke them with lead if it could harm them.

Even mine roll on their own, but i just leave them & when i do water changes, i clean them from any derbis & lace them where i want. Eventually they will roll again after a day or two.
