Amazon may survive, but more likely turn to mush at the base. The purple cambomba will probably disintegrate. I think the prurple needs even more light then the green cambomba.

Sorry but don't think you can get away with those plants @ 0.75wpg, especially as it's a tall tank, the light's going to have trouble getting to the bottom of the tank leading to weak stems on the cambomba.

Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability.

I would stick with Anubias, Java fern, Java moss, Algae balls, and Crypts (if in a nutrient rich substrate). You could also float some hornwort or watersprite if you like.

Purple Cabomba or Magenta Cabomba is a really high light demanding plant, in fact dependeing on the tank often needs about 4WPG so i wouldn't invest in one.

As hardy as amazon swords are, i think that is not enough, but if you plant it ontop of a rock (potted) near the surface it can make it.

The cabomba will loose all of it's leaves and the stems will melt away. At least that's what it did in my friend's 20 gal, 15 watt tank.

just get another tube of light, a buld whatever you use.

that will lead you to a lot more options.

green cabomba is the easiest type i believe, red needs a lot of light, i am not sure about purple or magenta
