It's either Lilaeopsis sp., or Echinodorus Tenellus. The Lilaeopsis is very hard to keep... and basically unless you are a plant-keeping pro it will die. The Echinodorus Tenellus however is much easier to keep and should do well in most conditions. I have a feeling you have Lilaeopsis, since it's taking so long to root ![]() |

Falstaf![]() ![]() Fish Addict Posts: 785 Kudos: 1211 Votes: 196 Registered: 12-Feb-2004 ![]() ![]() | Again, do clumps of many stems and runners "tie" them into one another and do a kind of a round brush with the clump, I don't know why but they do grow faster this ways and propagate easy, plant the clumps an inch apart from one another and deep into the gravel, in a month or 2 you'll start seeing less space between them, Lilaeopsis is a really slow growing plant and it has to be really comfortable to do so, if you have watched the runners closely, it only has a leaf every inch or so, so imagine how long does it takes the plant to do so, that's why groups are the way to go. |
