so what are these moss balls? are they worth 5.50 for two? and if i do buy, do i just drop them in and then what?

I've heard them called moss balls and Marimo Balls. I think we sell them for about $5 a piece so that for 2 is a good deal IMO if you like them. They don't do much growing that I ever saw when I had mine, but they are easy low light plants so I guess you can't expect too much.

They are low light Moss Balls & they absorb the water nasties & grow really slow. You must turn them from time to time to keep them round & when they get bigger, you can cut them in half & there you have two Moss Balls.
