FishyCharacter Hobbyist Posts: 129 Kudos: 132 Votes: 1 Registered: 14-May-2004	It is mainly a fertilizer. It can also be used to make bombs (similar to the one used in the Oklahoma City bombing). The one used there was made with ammonium nitrate, but almost any source of concentrated nitrates can be used. This is likely why it is hard to come by.
