ive just setup a tiny 2 gal. it came with undergravel filter (no to keen on this but i will see what happens) and 15watt globe. ive set it up using natural coloured 2mm gravel, small rock and sml leaved plants and some tiny grasses. it looks unreal its got just a plastic backing on it with a plant scene on it (i might turn it over to the plain blue side) i cant believe how cute it is. im thinking a Betta will look huge in it as the plant leaves are really sml and delicate looking. the light looks really yellow though, making it look a bit "off" can you get these round globes in different specs to be more blue in stead of this yellow effect? does anyone have ideas for tiny fish to suit the sml leaved plants ive chosen? a Betta would look like a giant in there

loulou,

i cant believe how cute it is

And when will we be able to see this beauty ?

As to small fish:

- There are a few tiny Rasbora species out there, forgot their name though
- Also, Guppies stay rather small (to some degree) and are very colorful
- And Endlers (if you don’t consider them Guppies)
- And some very small Tetras (I found Neolebias ansorgii in our profile section, but I don’t know how easily they are available)

The Rasbora maculate seem to like very acidic water, 6.0-6.5 so you might be limited with that choice, even if it's a 2 gallon to begin with.Hope it works out and pics will be nice, if you can figure out how to put them up........
