I would like to use it for my planted 10 gallon in which i plan to have some bottom dweller, either khulis or corys and i don't want to chance their barbels grinding down. I know flourite is said to do that to a corys barbels since it is somewhat sharp. Anyone ever used it? |

That said, I raised two baby cories on it and they did fine. Some say that rather than sharp substrates, cory barbels degenerate due to water quality. If you like sand, you may want to try Tahitian moon sand, but it isn't really a "Plant" substrate. I've heard mixed reviews about Floraba |
