can someone list some respectable sites i can order aquarium plants from. i don't really want to give out my credit card number, so im hoping to find some sites that accept money orders

They take paypal and money orders... You have to prepay with a money order however.

I use http://www.aquabid.com They use paypal for the most part. Some will take checks and money orders, but like John said you have to pay in advance for those.

i checked out that azgardens and found alot of cool plants that i cant get locally.i emailed them about how the money order will work out.........they say shipping will be figured later, but if i send the money order ahead of time, i won't know how much shipping cost to figure in.

The only place I've ordered plants from is from [link=Aquatic Plant Depot]http://www.aquaticplantdepot.com" style="COLOR: #000040[/link]... you can prepary with money order, etc, but you do have to call in and whatnot to discuss the payment or something. I've never done that with them, but there is the option. They have a decent selection for VERY reasonable prices... I don't think I've seen lower ones yet.

You do have to keep an eye out, as some of their plants are grown emerged, and some of the names they use seem to be outdated. *shrugs* However, I'm very satisfied with the plants I got... quality is awesome. You can talk to Theresa_M, who is the one who informed me of this site in the first place... she's ordered several times, I believe.

Also, the staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful...

Ive used aquariumplant.com and used to order from tycom-1 on ebay. Both take paypal. I was extremely impressed with the plants i got from both. Aquariumplant has specials. My last order was from them ... got enough plants for $50 that i had to use them in more than the tank i had planned.
