ive decided to go ahead and come over to the planted side. there arent too many LFS near me, and the ones that are around here dont have that great a selection of plants. i was just wondering if anyone has had any experience ordering aquarium plants online, and if so whats a good place to use? thanks!

I've had good luck with Aquatic Plant Depot. They have a decent selection, the prices aren't bad, and they ship Priority Mail for $10.

I've ordered from them at least 3 times; I actually have a pending order to be shipped later this week. One time I didn't receive all my plants. I emailed them and they sent the replacement plant and plus at extra. I did have the option of having a credit for the plant's cost as well.

The plant selection in my area isn't the greatest. The one lfs that does have nice plants is pricey. For example, I ordered medium amazon swords (8-10" for $2.50 each, the lfs was charging $5.99 for the same size plant. I had at least a dozen plants on this order so it made up for the shipping costs.

Good luck.

ya i would have suggested that site theresa but after receiveing my second order from them with half dried -out plants, i decided that i wasn't too happy with them. but the first order was great. . but they had free shipping if u spend over $100 so ig uess thats a plus if u can hold that many plants

Aquariumgarden all the way... don't get me started on the other...]:| I would rather plant cactus and thistles in my tank than to order from there again.
