Also, look for bulbs that are listed as 'full spectrum' or 'daylight', with a color temperature of 5000 K to 6700K (I'd go with the 6700K if you have a choice). Also, what kind of substrate are you thinking about? Flourite would be a great one to start with. BTW, don't mess with fertilizers until you get the plants established. They won't need them with low light, and too much too soon could cause an algae bloom. [span class="edited"][Edited by joe fishy 2004-09-08 15:36][/span] |
