Okay y'all, I got 5 E. tennelus plants today that are in pots. I'm going to assume that they are to be taken out of the pot before planting correct? How close stogether should I plant them to achieve the carpet look eventually? Do I just shove the roots below the substrate? Any advise welcome.

hey red,

Get 'em out of the pots and plant them an inch or so apart. They'll all grow together eventually so it doesn't matter too much how far apart.

Push them down a little deeper than the roots, get the crown just under the substrate so they dont bounce back up. Should take off in no time

Thanks Nowher!! I appreciate the advice. I'm just getting ready to plant now.....after a potassium permanganate dip.
