Plant sites in the UK:

The best one, in my opinion, is http://www.birstall.co.uk. They have a huge stock -- all Tropica plants -- and the plants always come in excellent condition. The service is superb as well. Although they are the most expensive, they are the ones I almost always buy from as their plants and service is worth the money. Lots of information too. Pros: all of the above. Cons: price.

Then there is also Greenline http://www.aquaticplants.eu.com which have decent plants which are decently priced. Their stock is not as good as Birstall, but they do have some things that Birstall don't. Pros: quick delivery and healthy cheap plants. Cons: Some of their plants are not truly aquatic and are not always labeled as such while other plants are not really as labeled.

There's also http://www.java-plants.com who are by far the cheapest. I've only ordered from them once and although the plants weren't too bad, they were clearly not as good as the other two. Their stock is not as extensive either and also check their delivery explanation as if you order on certain days you will only get your plants about two weeks later.

There's also another online retailer whose name I don't remember and I'm not going to try and find it either as I didn't like anything about them. If you insist, I will try to think who they are.

Cheers.

EDIT: As for CO2 setups, check out AquaEssentials as they different setups by different makers. The best setup there, in my opinion, is the JBL one, which is actually a pressurised system only the CO2 bottles are disposable so you don't have to worry about refilling them. Then again, it's not really cheap. As for the rest of them, I wouldn't have a clue which one's better, but you can drop them an email and tell them what you're looking for and what is your budget and they will tell you what's the best one for you.

cheers for that, very helpful now i'll be able to get the plants i want, instead of the ones the lfs stock that are either dying before you buy them or high light plants or not even aquatic plants.
