Could try smaller crypts like Parva, but that may actually be too small. I have Willisi with Wendtii and the Willisi seems to stay a fair bit smaller. Echnidorous Parviforus "Tropica" will stay small. I'm leaving out Anubias, I know you already have some so you may have discounted them already. Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability. |

They stay pretty short -coffeefolia is also good because, while it does stay shorter than other anubias variations, it will kind of grow "out", so it's not a thin little plant. |
