M.J.![]() Fingerling Posts: 27 Kudos: 31 Votes: 0 Registered: 31-Mar-2005 ![]() ![]() | I am going to be picking up some java moss later this week and I have noticed that the LFS I will be going to (only one that carries the moss) has snails in the plant tanks.....I don't want snails in my tank as the moss is to provide a breeding medium and the snails would defeat that by consuming any fish eggs they found...what is the best way to treat the java moss to kill off any snails/eggs that may be on it when I get it home before introducing it into my tank??? |

I'm not sure where to get the PP, but you dilute it to a light purple color. The bleach dip is generally 1 part bleach to 9 parts water. For java moss, I wouldn't leave it in the solution for more than a minute, then rinse, rinse, rinse. |
