Okay, in my 30 I have: 3 platies, 6 cherry barbs, 10 harley rasboras, 1 opaline gourami, and 1 pleco. Something is nibbling the crap out of my tallest aponogeton leaf (it's almost munched all the way down to the rib]:|). I haven't been able to catch the perpetrator. Who should I suspect and what can I do to reduce the nibbling? My poor plant looks like crap!!!

My guess would be the barbs or the pleco. or if its the tallest leaves they could simply be dieing off.... as to stopping the nibbling kind of hard to say you could try feeding them lettuce or some other beggie so that they get the plant nutrients, that should discourage further nibbling.

Hard to say. Pretty much all those fish will nibble on vegetation. Gouramis are quite omnivorous and will eat long strings of algae or soft plants. Platies also won't turn down an easy plant meal. If it's the top of the plants then it isn't likely to be the pleco.
