Hey Guys,

My Vals have runners with little Vals coming up. The small Vals are about 3-4cm in height and l can see their root forming.

When should l cut the link from the mother Val and where?

The plants have been in the tank for 4 weeks now.

Cheers
Wayne

sharkbait_whohaha,

The question is: Why do you want to cut them?

If you just want to let your plants grow then there is no need to cut them at all.

If you wish to cut them anyways (selling or replanting them) then 4 inches (to be on the safe side) are for sure tall enough, 2 inches might work already as well.

Ingo

EDIT: Where should you cut? Anywhere you like to cut

Thanks Ingo. l was just asking coz l thought l had to cut the baby plant from the mother once it get big enough.

I guess l'll leave the plants the way they are.
