I have been told repeatedly that no fish will host with my concy anemone. I paid extra for 2 black & white clownfish, cause I thought they'd look best with my pink bubble tip & 1 is hosting w/the condy! I was also told that it would take longer for tank raised clown to host at all & I've only had them for a few hours.

Just depends on the fish. You should certainly never count on it though.

Some will host immideatly, others won't ever host with anything, some will host with Xenia, others will host with powerheads. It really just depends.

You cant count on nature to give you a definite answer.

Like Mikey was saying, I've seen clownfish host in LPS corals like frogspawn, anchor corals, grape corals, etc.

It just depends on the personality of the fish.

We can make educated guesses on which clownfish species is most or less likely to host in this or that anenome, but we're always likely to be wrong sometimes.
