	Candy Cane Coral

DarkRealm Overlord Moderator metal-R-us Posts: 5962 Kudos: 2166 Registered: 23-Sep-2002	sounds like bleaching to me. Is it a new coral? Have you recently moved it? Have you changed your lighting? What lighting do you have and over what size tank? Also what are your water parameters?

fishguyoo7 Hobbyist Posts: 95 Kudos: 128 Votes: 14 Registered: 02-Apr-2005	yeah its a new coarl, nitrite 0, ammonia 0, ph 8.2, nitrate 20ppm., calcium 420, light is low i know only about 2 watts per gal. in a 35 gal. tank. i moved him closer to the top to get him some more light until my paycheck come to get them a new light. www.responsiblethrashers.com

It sounds to me like the candy cane just bleached because of different conditions. With proper water parameters, lighting, and feedings it will return to normal shortly
