Sonic2041 Enthusiast Posts: 152 Kudos: 142 Votes: 19 Registered: 19-Dec-2004 | I have a standard 120 gallon tank (48x24x24). If i were to get 2 400 watt halides and 4 55 watt actinic pc bulbs would that be too much lighting for some corals or will i be able to keep all kinds? if i used 2- 250 watt halides instead, would i still have enough light for sps? thanks for the help. |

With the 250 watt halides you would still be able to keep SPS and clams, and you would save money on bulb replacement and electricity.
