Known fact but not accurately described. Darker fish are usually suboordinate, the orange hues changing to almost green, the effect is an overall darkening. Dominant fish remain bright in the orange hues and the black areas are very distinctly black. Usually the overall effect is not one of darkening but of extreme vividity.

Clown loaches change colour for a variety of reasons, from distress through to illness, and reactions to water quality. This text might lead an owner into thinking a sick or stressed fish is a dominant happy fish, and find out through a death or loss of condition that it is very much not the case.

Clown loaches also vary in hue with regional specimens collected from different areas, some are darker and less distinct than others anyway without the slightest indication of mood.

Maybe somebody can add then the correct information?

I disagree. In addition to correcting the information, i think there should be a commentary on the variety of varients in the stripes( saddleback, 4- stripe, puzzle piece, etc.)
