I just did a quick web search and couldn't find any common name for this cory beyond variations on "gomezi corydoras". I did find mention of C. gomezi being similar to C. agassizii, C. ambiacus and C. leucomelas on planetcatfish, but no comparisons to julii. Only cory that I've heard compared to Juliis are trilineatus. shrugs Also, every mention I see during my brief net search of "false julii" returns a scientific name of trilineatus. ~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~
