2 big schools of Rummy nose & Emperor Tetra will be great in your 90g tank. About 15 of each.

Also consider Columbian and Diamond Tetras. Both are over 2" when mature, and would make a beautiful display in a larger tank. Bloodfins, while slimmer bodied, would be a nice, hardy, strongly schooling fish for the upper water layers. I'm sure whatever you end up with will look great!

the profiles arent the exact maximum size of a fish. they say cardinal tetras grow to 1.2 inches but all of mine except for one are 2 inches+ u cant rely heavily on the exact things stated in the profiles. a lot of it is correct and some of it is accurate. none of it is completly incorrect though any way a good school of these would look awesome in ur tank.

If congos grow up to 5 inches, then the profile on this site should be changed!

You could probably do schools of 20 with small (1-2" tetras
Or do schools of 15 with medium (2-2.5"
Or schools of 8-14 with large tetras

I reccomend black skirt tetras
those are medium

Well, I'm partial to rummies. My large school of 15 is quite interesting to watch in my 75 gallon.

You could put in a smaller school of congo tetras which are absolutely beautiful! They are larger than your average tetras (growing to just over 3 inches) so you couldn't put in as many as the smaller kind, but what they lack in numbers they will make up in sheer beauty!!

hey. tetras are great fish and u will be glad u chose them. im thinking that since u have a really big tank then maybe a school of 15-20 each? that would look really nice. and since they are the larger forms of tetra ( pretty sure about black neons being the larger kind but i know the bleeding hearts are) any way since they are larger and i think you have some room then maybe you could squeeze in an angel actually now that i look you could squeeze in maybe 2 to make a pair. good luck with ur new set-up
