Would a ph drop be enough to cause them to school. I've just restarted the CO2 in the tank, other than that nothings changed, nothings been added. I've had them in the tank with CO2 running before and didn't notice them schooling. I know it wont last, just found it odd that they'd suddenly start when for as long as I've had them they havent. 6 White skirt tetras that normally stay to their own corners. ^_^[hr width='40%']"There’s an emptiness inside her. That may well be the case in your tank, since you say that there has been no other new stimulus. After the tetras get used to the change, chances are that they will split up again. And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

I've messed around in the tank enough before that they're not spooked by water changes. My messing around putting the tube in wasn't any more time in the tank than during water changes, snail killings, or BGA removal.
