I have just been to a LFS and there they had some emperor tetras.
Iam just thinking that it might be another tetras because those i saw was pretty big around 5cm and the color was like silver/bronze color,I thought the emperor tetras was mostly black.
Maybe those tetras i saw where stressed out?

I know human beings and fish can co-exist peacefully.

Emperor Tetra are silverish, with a brown & black stripe.

Yep, those were definitely the classic Emperor Tetra. The males have a lovely blue-purple sheen (although it's not as intense as the glow on adult male Blue Emperors), while young ones and adult females are a rather dingy gray-purple color. (The males also have bright sky-blue eyes, while the females have green ones.) And as adults they are indeed fairly large. In my experience they're solitary but non-aggressive, and intermediate among Tetras as far as delicacy is concerned.

Well, before the aquarium trade took off (and maybe afterwards), Thais used to eat Harlequin Rasboras and Clown Loaches on a wholesale basis. (The Rasboras were ground up and made into fish cakes.)
