I was supposed to meet someone to go to a lfs an hour away but they never showed up. So I went to get something to eat and to get some more tetras for my 125g. I had to decide between rummies and cardinals. I ended up choosing the rummies since this place seems to get good ones. I got 6 of them and started QT. This is my first experiment into higher level care fish. Hopefully everything goes well and I go a little further. |

My first purchase of 7 ended with 4 after the first 2 weeks. Then the 4 left were fine. Really they aren't hard to care for, but just hard to get to addapt...sorta like otos and Blue Rams. They are nit picky fish for a few days then bam they are fine![]() By the way, congrats ...you will find them a bit of a challenge compared to other tetras, but not so difficult that you can't keep 'em aliveLast edited by Tetra Fan at 19-Oct-2005 07:10 |

I have a school of 18 & they are great. For sure, you're going to love yours & just keep up with the water changes & they'll be fine. ![]() http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
