I can't find much about them on the internet. There are some at a local store I was thinking of purchasing. Mainly I am wondering if they are peaceful and/or compatible with plants... Nipping at each other would be the most damage they'd do. I only saw a couple of profiles online, and they aren't very helpful. They do say that these tetras are peaceful and will "accept flakes", but that doesn't mean much. |

They seemed to be quite feisty among themselves, but none of the gouramis in the tank had shredded fins. There weren't any live plants in the tank though, so I was not able to determine if they were plant safe. Anyway, they were only $1.50 each, so I'll probably go back tomorrow and pick them up (there were six I think). Thanks for the info. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

It doesn't have any information about their temperament though. The ones in the store actually look much better than the one in that picture. The ones I'm going to get have much bolder vertical stripes, and their anal fin is red. None of the ones I've seen online have red anal fins, so I think the ones I'm getting might be a different population or something? Anyway, I'll try and post some pictures when I get them. They seemed like very active fish though, so I can't make any guarantees pertaining to the quality of the photos. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

Their color is all washed-out... I'll get some more pictures once they settle in. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |
