They only do it in the morning. Does this mean anything? ![]() |

If they start chasing wildly, at what appears to be breakneck speed, followed by pauses for the males to show off to each other and engage in a spot of jousting, then expect the patter of tiny fins. Eventually, a male will approach a female with a head down attitude (contrasting with the head up attitude of two males facing off) and beckon her into fine leaved plants. Sometimes, two males may spawn with the same female. When spawning occurs, the participants part explosively once the eggs are expelled, then start trying to gobble several of them up! Hopefully i might see a spawning soon then. ![]() (i remmeber reading your BIG lemon tetra post. i will track it down and have another read through it) |
