BUt now they are all spaced out around the perimeter of the tank, at regular interval, they look like they are on lookout or something. They arent schooling anymore and dont seem terribly active! ![]() any thoughts/ideas?? thanks |

I *think*, anyways. It was either penguin tetras, or another kind... Could someone give me clarification on this? EDIT: All right then, I think it was a different fish. Tetras will not school if they do not feel the need, and will otherwise only group together when they are stressed or feeding. Do you have any other fish in the tank? I've had penguins for quite a while, and never have I found them ti be territorial. As seen, many times, tetras will not school provided they feel secure in their current surroundings. |
